Activities
Activities on site include swimming, tennis, swings, pool table and baby foot, fishing on our private lake.
Fishing and boating in the lakes nearby with nature trails, museum and restaraunt at the 'Tourbieres' site de Vendoire.
Karting, Bowling, Kayaking, Horse Riding, Fetes, Miniature Golf and Petanque/Boules
There is a kart track and 10 pin bowling at Angouleme and at Riberac there is kayaking.
There is also Karting at a great karting track near to Nontron about 45 minutes drive from us and whilst you're there why not visit the interesting town of Nontron, enjoying a coffee in the village square.
Miniature golf at St. Severin approx. 15 minutes drive from the campsite.
There are other activities including kayaking, horse riding, boules tournements, fetes throughout the summer months. Vendoire normally has a fete every second sunday of the month of August and this one is no exception, they have a collection of classic cars, agricultural vehicles, craft stalls, you can visit the museum and see the bees busying themselves making the honey and you can even taste it there on the spot!! yummy!!
The Sky at Night
Wow... you really have to see these clear skies for yourself the stars are just magnificent, you can see the milky way really clearly and if you are one of the lucky ones you will even see some shooting stars. Star gazers you must visit this area it's such a treat!
Should there be a specific activity which you are interested in, please ask and we shall endeavour to source it for you. We would also like to encourage crafting holidays, please ask if you are interested in running a course or attending a course.
Fishing Competitions
If you would like to arrange a trout fishing competition between your friends, family or colleagues, we will be more than happy to arrange this in the neighbouring private lake, picnics can be arranged or a meal after the competition on site - to incorporate prize giving.
